Mason,The end of your 4th month of life is nearing. The past 4 months have honestly been the BEST 4 months of my life :) Before I had you, I thought I could imagine the love and feelings that I would have for you.
I had no idea. I honestly know now that only a Mother knows what it means to "love so much it scares you." I also know now, that I had NO idea how much my parents loved me until now :)
Enough of the mushy stuff. Here is what you have been up to this month!
You started eating rice cereal. You had were instantly interested, leaning in for the spoon, with a wide opened mouth. Swallowing took some getting used to, and apparantly your intestinal track had to get used to "solids"........ but it, and you, both got used to it. We have since moved on to oatmeal, and it is going great!
You can roll front to back, back to front, side to side, and any other which way I have left out! You are not crawling yet, but somehow you make your way from one side of the room to the other. It is definitely getting to be time to baby proof!!!
Typically, you sleep from about 9pm to 9am every night, waking once at around 5 or 6 in the morning to eat. I have a feeling you could make it longer....but I haven't made you try just yet :)
No teeth have officially come through yet, but you are teething like MAD. EVERYTHING goes into your mouth, and that is all that much easier for you now that you can reach and grab most anything your heart desires!
You are OBSESSED with television, much to your Daddy's chagrin....anywhere we go, if there is a TV on, you seem to find it and lock eyes with it. We have a feeling we will definitely have to be monitoring your television intake when you are older!
You make the sweetest little babble's and coo's all the time! Almost every evening after your Daddy gets home from work, you and he have a long "conversation". It is the sweetest thing and you two both enjoy that time together!
You sit in a high chair now when we go out to eat, and in the shopping cart at the grocery store. The latter is a bit difficult for you, but as long as we have the boppy cover to give you a little extra support and cushion, you are good to go!
And lastly, you got sick for the first time this month! AND....I got sick as a mommy for the first time too! You are handling it much better than me, and have been such the trooper!!! Smiling and cooing through all the snotty noses, that is, until I try to clean your nose :)
Here were your stats, at your 4 month appointment (8.25.10):
Weight: 19.7 lbs (97th %)
Length: 25.25 inches (65th %)
Head: 17.25 inches (88th %)
We love you more than you will ever know!
Mama :)

Mason is so cute! Such a big boy! Grayson is obsessed with the TV too. Sometimes he will get mad if you turn him away from it. He would probably lay in front of the TV all day if I let him.
