Ask.....

And you shall receive!
17 weeks pregnant........with ONE ;)
sorry for the face, I was trying to direct Brooks on how to use my camera :)

Long Time, No Talk

Sorry I have been a bit MIA lately. My family and I had to make a quick trip to Amarillo this past weekend to attend Steve's funeral. It of course, was a super sad trip, but we are all so happy that he is in a better place now and out of pain. And even under such sad circumstances, it was great to see everyone......and baby Stoy got lots of lovin' :)
(Turns out I have no problem with people rubbin' on the belly. I didn't really know HOW I would feel about it before hand, but to me - it just feels like they are giving him a hug :) I kinda like it!)
Disclaimer: I don't mind if I KNOW you VERY well. Strangers, Co-Workers....no.
Speaking of the co-workers and the baby.... this morning at work, a co-worker of mine stopped me as I was walking past him and asked,
"So do you have a lot of twins in your family?"
"A couple set of fraternal twins, but not a lot."
"Oh, well, so they would know by now if you were going to have twins right?"
.........................*insert horrified face here*.........................
"Um, yes............ definitely."
I was too scared to ask WHY he decided that was a valid question all of the sudden. I mean, I know I have kind of popped out a little bit lately, but I honestly don't think I warrant a "TWINS" scenario.......yikes. Unless I am just in denial about my apperance.
And that is something I would rather not think about.

WISHFUL WEDNESDAY

'I wish' .... my life was a movie, and I would want it to be ______ genre!

I must say, I LOVE this question!!!! I am a total movie buff, so this is right up my alley! My two favorite types of movies are older classics (i.e. 50's, 60's Doris Day stuff, Gone With The Wind, Anne of Green Gables, etc...) or Westerns.....

I know, I know......TOTALLY random, but something about the simpler pace of life is so appealing to me. I guess I like to pretend I lived in a time like that. Although the type of life found in a Western is quite different than that found in, oh say a 1960's Doris Day movie. They both have a slower pace of life - and I love it!

Man, I sound like a nerd.

Although it would be a complete 180 from my current life, either one of those I would be totally cool with :)

Wishful Wednesday......CHORES!

This Wednesday's Wish, is:

"I wish I never had to {insert chore here} again!"

Now, I would say, mop the floors.....but my loving husband usually does that for me :) So I would have to say, I HATE unloading the dishwasher. I don't know what it is....I don't mind hand washing things in the sink or loading, but I HATE unloading!

Come to think of it, Brooks does that quite a bit too.... I am such a lucky girl :)

Happy Belated Halloween.........

I forgot to post these on Halloween, and they have been on my other computer since then. So, in case any of you are missing Halloween already......here's this to tide you over until next year.

Good Girl Remi. Even though Brooks is MORTIFIED that I would do this to you.

We both know you like it :)

Aww, poor Lucy. She looks homeless. It is definitely time to call the groomer.

This was the only way we could get Lucy to stay still. She's cute, but not the sharpest knife in the drawer. Oh, and don't even ask about the 5' stump. That's another post entirely.

Not Sure if I am Trendy Enough......

But I just got this cover for my Blackberry :)
I usually would never buy something so girly, but I really, really like it......

Reason For The Season

Just wanted to let everyone know about this really quick. I am sure most of you read Kelly Stamps' blog anyways, but just in case:

She wrote about this little boy who has cancer and is not expected to make it until Christmas, so his family is celebrating NOW. And all he wants for Christmas is for EVERYONE to send a Christmas Card to his house! Kelly mentioned that we probably all have an old holiday card lying around, so take 5 minutes out of your day to fill it out and make this little boy's Christmas :)

This is what the season is about after all, not money and gifts and presents.
Here is the link to all the information. I hope his mailbox is BURSTING open :)http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=171286393685&ref=mf
